E-Mail-Converter is a small Windows application designed by Media KG to convert Outlook message files to Outlook Express or vice versa. It is capable of processing single files, complete folders or whole folder structures (including subfolders).
The interface is organized in tabs, where users can select the type of conversion (to Outlook Express or to Outlook), batch conversion or other options; then locate the email files or folders and start the conversion. A great feature is that email files can be processed even when Outlook is connected to the email client. The application supports MSG and EML files.
This program is not really useful, since if the user owns Outlook 2007 or 2010, the email messages and folder structures are easily acquired by them.
New features found in the version 1.2 are the following: command line parameters function; all the email conversion activities are now registered in a log file in the program's root directory; compatibility with Outlook 2007, 2010 and Windows 7.
